Les fluides A2L sont légèrement inflammable, ce qui change la catégorie de risque en comparaison avec les fluides A1. Ces fluides doivent être utilisés en respectant certaines précautions de la conception à l’utilisation. L’ensemble des composants frigorifiques et électriques des groupes A2L sont homologues et compatible pour un fonctionnement avec ces fluides.
